I have pre-ordered my book and am now very impatiently waiting for the book.

Transformation!

Oh golly, gosh, geewillikers, & ancient stuff like that. This afternoon I was a stepgrandma stitching away at the heirloom blanket for the new crown prince in the family. Then I open my email from crochetme and now I are one of the cogniscenti, creating and experiencing bedazzlement from the wonder-filled new book about to give a major boost to the crochet scene. I reckon the next step is to tiptoe into tagging. (I should never post after 1 am.)

This is all going to be great fun if only October can manage to get here sooooooon. Of course then I would also have to decide what to make first. Me thinks it must come down to a blind draw. I'll never be able to choose just one to start with...

I was completely floored by the fantastic preview shots of the book. Hmm, I suppose now I need to learn to crochet? I'm a knitter primarily, but have a few crochet tricks up my sleeve that may come in handy. Just need to brush up on it a bit...

...to make my first crocheted garment. And the pictures I've seen give me hope that it'll be cute and wearable.

Porn for crocheters

As a mate of mine would say, 'this book is porn for crocheters' - well it looks that way in the preview shots. Can't wait to see it. So rarely does a really edgy, different book about crochet arrive on the shelves! Congratulations. Bron
